Storm Frontline Nation will allow the player to take command of the forces of one of the modern nations, in this era of confrontation between superpowers. The action takes place in 2012 against the backdrop of a resource crisis and aggravation in the Middle East, due to which a serious deterioration in relations begins in Europe. There are 45 countries of Europe and North Africa to choose from, including both large participants in geopolitical processes (France, Germany, Russia, etc.) and small countries such as Belgium and even Malta.

The gameplay in Storm Frontline Nation includes two components: strategic and tactical. On a global map consisting of 500 provinces, the user will have to manage all aspects of national politics. First of all, one should prepare for war by investing in the development of the armed forces - both conventional and weapons of mass destruction - and establishing industry. In addition, you will have to invest in science in order to maintain troops at the proper level, take care of the opinion of the population, carry out diplomatic games and secret operations.

In the event of a collision between two armies, you will have to lead them on the battlefield. This is done on a tactical map, divided into hexagonal cells, in a step-by-step mode. The project has different types of troops (tanks, infantry, aviation and artillery, etc.), each of which has its own advantages over others and is capable of operating in certain conditions, while being easily destroyed in others.
