You are the deputy of the Scorched Queen, appointed by her in order to subjugate the barren wastes and find the lost treasures of the Smoldering City, the last bastion of civilization, miraculously withstood the Rotten Storm that destroyed the old world. In most survival city builders, you control just one city, but in Against the Storm your task is to build a huge network of thriving settlements, home to different fantastical peoples with different lifestyles, needs and skills.

In undeveloped lands, many unexpected threats await you, and incessant storms will prevent your charges from rebuilding. You will lose your settlements, expeditions will fail, but this does not mean defeat. Against the Storm is a roguelike-lite game, which means that even if you fail, you can continue your mission, retaining the resources, upgrades and experience from previous campaigns.


Foxes, beavers, lizards, humans and harpies help each other survive in this dangerous world. Use the strengths of each race to meet the needs of all. Build suitable housing and provide everyone with food, produce luxury goods and organize leisure time. Sew raincoats, brew ale, bake pies - in any way try to raise the morale of the population, which is constantly threatened by a dangerous and unexplored forest. Or perhaps you will decide to prioritize the needs of only one of the species in order to quickly fulfill the orders of the Scorched Queen?

Add roguelike elements to a classic city builder and you´ve got a game you can´t put down. Build cities and manage numerous settlements on a huge map, while collecting valuable resources needed to improve the Smoldering City. Feel the pressure of an impatient monarch as the Scorched Queen demands regular successes while Rotten Storms bring destruction to your cities.
